An international series that will film part of its production in Galicia during October 2026 is opening a casting call for child extras in Moraime (A Coruña).

Galicia is currently hosting part of the filming of After the Eclipse (Heading for the Stars), a documentary directed by Alba Prol that follows Vigo-based scientist Begoña Vila during NASA's Nancy Grace Roman mission and her return to Galicia coinciding with the total solar eclipse.

Vigo and Tomiño are hosting the final phase of filming Pínkala, the new feature film by Juanjo Giménez, produced by the Galician company Frida Films in co-production with M-Films. The film, starring Pol López and María Leite, is set primarily in Vigo.
