The Xunta de Galicia, through the Axencia Galega das Industrias Culturais, allocates each year more than xx million euros to the audiovisual sector.
Through calls for public subsidies, the regional government comprehensively promotes all phases of audiovisual projects of Galician production and/or authorship by supporting the creation, development, production and co-production of content under cultural and quality parameters, incident in the industry and viability in terms of realization and subsequent distribution.
The commitment to the audiovisual industry as a strategic area of cultural industries and the promotion of Galicia and its talent abroad translates into a significant boost through lines of aid, with the aim of accompanying projects from their creation to their exhibition, both in theaters and in local, national and international events.
Many of the measures are developed through the Audiovisual Hub and the Galician Cultural Industry, which is a fundamental instrument both for the channeling of European funds and to serve as a support point for companies and professionals. Within this framework of action, it is also open to the video game sector, with specific aids.
