Films from Galicia is the brand created by the Xunta, as part of the program for the internationalization of Galician audiovisual content, to contribute to the international promotion of our most recent film and television productions, as well as to strengthen its presence in the main markets of the sector, both within and, especially, outside of Spain.

Its content is renewed every year, taking the form of a physical and digital edition, in English, of a catalog of Galician productions and projects in the following categories: feature films, documentaries, animation, and television series (short films are given a separate treatment through their own brand, Shorts from Galicia. Along with the accompanying promotional video, this publication showcases the dynamism of an audiovisual industry that is open to the world, but without renouncing the cultural values inherent to Galicia.

Shorts from Galicia is the brand of the Galician Government for the international promotion of Galician short films, which, along with Films from Galicia, holds a prominent place in the internationalization program for Galician audiovisual content as a showcase of the creative potential of our cinema, recognized at festivals around the world.

Under this banner, a selection of outstanding works of Galician production and/or authorship in this format is published each year. The publication, edited in English, is available in both physical and digital formats and is accompanied by the corresponding promotional video.

The Galician Agency for Cultural Industries (AGADIC) publishes an annual activity report each year, which documents the work carried out throughout the year, in collaboration with industry stakeholders, to promote three fundamental pillars of Galician culture: audiovisual, the performing arts, and music.
