The Galician Agency for Cultural Industries has published the resolution for the 2026 call for grants for the production and co-production of Galician audiovisual projects, with a total awarded amount of 3.5 million euros.These grants will support 22 new titles set to be released in the coming years: 7 feature films, including fiction and animation; 5 documentary feature films; 3 feature films in international co-production with a minority Galician stake; 6 short films; and 1 fiction series for television and streaming platforms.The resolution, published in the Official Gazette of Galicia, includes the list of beneficiary projects, as well as the applications that were admitted, denied, and those that will join the waiting list due to the exhaustion of available funds.This new grant reinforces support for talent, independent production, and the consolidation of the Galician audiovisual sector.
