Castiñeiras Beach hosted the final day of filming for O da miña nai.

Castiñeiras Beach, in the municipality of Ribeira, was the chosen location to complete the filming of O da miña nai, the first feature film by actress and director Nerea Barros.Produced by Zeitun Films and Coler Films, the film is presented as an autobiographical film poem that combines elements of fiction and documentary. Nerea Barros takes on the direction, screenplay, and executive production of the project alongside Felipe Lage. The cast also includes actress Carmen Nova, and it features a hybrid language through which the filmmaker explores memory, family ties, and her own personal experience.Filming in natural locations like Castiñeiras Beach also highlights Galicia's diverse landscapes as a setting for audiovisual productions.
