Imaxinaria international animation film festival that takes place in the city of A Coruña, promoted by Afundación.
A project that seeks to promote and publicise less commercial audiovisual animation to to the general public, and also to function as a meeting point forprofessionals in the sector, where Galicia has a long and renowned tradition of innovation. The festival is directed by Matilde Rodríguez, curator of the Mostra Internacional de Ilustración Contemporánea (MiiC), and the film director Alberto Vázquez, a refernce in current animation, winner of numerous national and international awards.

Novos Cinemas is a festival of beginnings, dedicated to discovering the work of those just beginning their careers in film. In addition to having two official sections dedicated to debut and second films, the festival offers training for all ages: schoolchildren, university students, and the general public.
Each year, Novos Cinemas highlights the work of a prominent creator to showcase their cinematography to the public. It rounds out its programming with meetings, a project advisory LAB, discussions, and presentations of first images of films and music, all in a week that results in a major gathering of filmmakers and the public before the Nadal Festival.

The Ourense Film Festival is the oldest international competition event held in Galicia. The first edition took place in 1996 and was founded as the Ourense Independent Film Festival with the aim of defining and offering new perspectives for the promotion of Galician cinema.
At this festival, the independent genre takes center stage, a type of film production that is gaining increasing popularity and has sparked great interest among the public and film professionals alike. These are low-budget productions, in which imagination and originality are more important than financial cost.
It also grants nine other honorary awards and hosts panel discussions, book presentations, masterclasses, exhibitions, and professional meetings.

Play-Doc relies on an atypical model of a film festival that has contributed to consolidating it as a well-established reference in the Spanish non-fiction film scene. Over the years, Play-Doc has hosted true legends of world cinema. At the same time, it has proven to be a successful incubator for emerging talent and an influential platform for encouraging film training and promoting and stimulating films made in Galicia.
