Mondoñedo

Mondoñedo was the capital of one of the seven provinces of the former Kingdom of Galicia until 1833 and has been an episcopal seat since the 12th century. The urban ensemble is organized around the cathedral square, where you will find valuable monumental buildings (manors, convents, churches) coexisting with granite and slate-roofed houses, as well as urban gardens.
