The walkway to the waterfall is just 1 kilometer and takes you through an environment of native riparian forest, with oaks, birches, and alders, which give you no hint of the pleasant surprise awaiting as you reach the spectacular seimeira, the local name for waterfall in this area. At the end of the trail, you'll witness its magnificent plunge into the Porteliña River: a 54-meter-high cascade, one of the tallest in Galicia in free fall.
