The premises of Afundación in Santiago de Compostela

The building known as Casa Grande do Pozo is included in the catalog for the protection of the culturally significant built heritage by the City Council of Santiago de Compostela. It belonged to the chapter from the 15th to the 19th centuries. In 1895, architect Manuel Pereiro Caeiro carried out a significant renovation of the property. This renovation was conceived as a cultural container with open spaces, where pre-existing elements with historical and ethnographic value become the protagonists and are integrated into the new structures. It features a meeting room-library and an auditorium.
