Melón's Pools

The Cerves River originates in the Faro de Avión mountain range at an altitude of approximately 1,000 meters. As it descends towards Melón, it creates rapids, waterfalls, and pools. Most of these pools are situated around 500 meters in height and transform into natural swimming pools during the summer. The area provides a parking lot very close to the first pool, known as "Poza da Estrela." Next to this pool, you will find a staircase providing access to the remaining pools until reaching the last one, named "Poza de Arriba."
