Fraga de Catasós [Forested area in Catasós]

The Fraga de Catasós, on the outskirts of the town of Lalín, halfway between Santiago de Compostela and Ourense, is home to ancient oaks and chestnut trees. Protected as a Natural Monument, these trees now proudly reach towards the sky, which has earned them a reputation as some of the tallest specimens in Europe.
