Betanzos

Just 24 km from A Coruña you'll find this town bathed by the Mandeo River and its tributary, the Mendo River. It was one of the 7 capitals of the Ancient Kingdom of Galicia and has been declared a historical-artistic ensemble. Here, you can explore a historic district with cobbled streets and squares, along with several churches. When the Mandeo River's flow allows it, you will find boats sailing next to the historic bridge, along the Paseo de la Tolerancia (Tolerance Promenade).
