The Government of Galicia has just made public the resolution awarding 500,000 euros in grants to the Galician audiovisual sector for the development of 21 new film and television projects that are in their pre-production phase. This investment will be used by the 20 award-winning companies to finance various preliminary tasks aimed at preparing for the future production and filming of these titles. Specifically, 14 new feature film proposals and seven television series are being supported, with amounts ranging from 14,000 to 30,000 euros to carry out work related to the script, copyrights or intellectual property, financing, sales and distribution, rights management, research, and the creation of materials.from 1,450 to 30,000 euros to carry out tasks related to the script, copyright or intellectual property, financing, sales and distribution, rights management, research, creation of promotional materials, advisory or consulting fees, workspace rental, and other expenses incurred in the pre-production phase.

As for the section dedicated to the development of future television and platform series, four fiction projects are supported (Guerreras, el conflicto de Telanosa by CTV, Espontáneas from Intereuropa TV, Pensión Incompleta from Voz Audiovisual, and A Life Secret of Ursula Bas from Zenit Televisión), one animation project (Cebra con Lunares from Viva Zapata y Villar), and two documentaries (Caso Couso, the series from Recrea Films and Toxo from Tamboura Films).
