Vimianzo's castle

This 13th-century castle renovated during the 14th and 15th centuries is in excellent condition. It features walls and a moat with a bridge that used to be a drawbridge. The structure is built on a polygonal plan and has four towers and a courtyard. Every year, a reenactment of the 'Asalto ao Castelo' is held, simulating the Irmandiña War.
