Ulló's salt mines

These salt mines date back to the 17th century and were operational until the 19th century. They were constructed for salt extraction from the San Simón cove. The two distinct basins that form the salt mines are still discernible today. In the midst of the nearby forest, you can find the remains of the old farmhouse associated with the salt mines.
