Santo Andrés de Teixido's sanctuary

This church, featuring both Gothic and Baroque styles from the 16th to the 18th centuries, is nestled in a breathtaking landscape defined by the cliffs of the A Capela mountains. The only remnants of the previous church are the north wall door and the mural paintings. Legend has it that this sanctuary, a pilgrimage site, holds the saying "vai de morto quen non foi de vivo" ("those who didn't go in life will go in death"). It is located approximately 12 km from the town of Cedeira.
