Santa Tegra's hillfort

Add to my bookmark list

This hillfort, perched at an altitude of 241 meters, dates back to the 1st century BCE and stands as one of the largest in the northwestern Iberian Peninsula. Predominantly comprised of oval-shaped dwellings, it spans approximately 20 hectares. The views from there are unparalleled: Galicia, dominated by the port of A Guarda, the Atlantic Ocean, and the neighboring Portuguese coast.
