This ensemble, situated in the beautiful surroundings of an oak forest along the Sil River, consists of a monastery and a church. The original monastery building, arranged around a small cloister, was in the Romanesque style, following the aesthetic guidelines of the Benedictine order. Only two wings of the original construction remain today. The church is Romanesque and its construction began in the 12th century. Gothic elements, primarily arches, were introduced during the 13th century. The floor plan is in the shape of a Latin cross, divided into five spaces.
