San Clodio's monastery

The origin of this monastery is not entirely clear. Some sources place it in the 6th century, while others suggest the year 928. It was a pioneer in grape cultivation in this area. Originally founded by Cistercian monks, it was later run by Benedictine monks. Today, it operates as a 4-star hotel.
