Also known as the Pazo of Oca-Valladares, it is one of the most significant Gothic-Renaissance architectural expressions in Galicia, built in the mid-16th century and commissioned by Álvaro de Oca y Sarmiento. It features a two-story facade adorned with five coats of arms from different Galician lineages on the central balcony. These coats are also visible in the interior columned courtyard, which features a Carrara marble fountain. Since 1850, it has served as the headquarters for one of the city's oldest cultural societies: the Liceo Recreo Ourensano.
