Restored by the Xunta de Galicia and declared a Cultural Heritage Site for its ethnographic value, this village is home to houses and adjoining buildings constructed with slate walls and roofs. It also features cobblestone streets, narrow and winding. In the village, you can find a chestnut drying shed (sequeiro) and several threshing floors. At the entrance of the village is the Fonte do Milagro (Fountain of the Miracle). Nearby, lush native vegetation thrives, including chestnut trees and Mediterranean species such as cork oaks.
