Novos Cinemas. Festival Internacional de Cinema de Pontevedra

Novos Cinemas is a festival of beginnings, dedicated to discovering the work of those just beginning their careers in film. In addition to having two official sections dedicated to debut and second films, the festival offers training for all ages: schoolchildren, university students, and the general public.
Each year, Novos Cinemas highlights the work of a prominent creator to showcase their cinematography to the public. It rounds out its programming with meetings, a project advisory LAB, discussions, and presentations of first images of films and music, all in a week that results in a major gathering of filmmakers and the public before the Nadal Festival.
